Welcome to the Modern Typewriter, a daily blog to discuss topics that can’t be answered easily, or are just some fun topics! Today is November 28th, 2007, I’m Royce, and I’m here to discuss the event of Anne Frank’s special tree. When Anne Frank was in hiding, all of the windows to her room were blacked out. But the one that was not, the view was of a chestnut tre, which gave Anne much comfort. But now, there is an argument on whether or not to cut it down. The Trees Institute insists that it remain, but the owner is afraid that the tree will fall on the house or people, and then he will be to blame. Read this article, that we read today in future school and leave a comment on what you think. Should this historic tree be cut down, or shall it remain? Leave us a comment and tell us!
Remember, I’m Royce, and this is the Modern Typewriter, OUT!
